Ganhuyag is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Ard Financial Group, an investment holding company, after resigning from Vice Minister of Finance 2012. He has extensive knowledge and experience in Microfinance industry. Ganhuyag started his career at the Mongolian Stock Exchange as a floor supervisor in 1991. He joined the Central Bank’s supervision division after graduating from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1997. He was hired by UNDPs MicroStart Pilot Project in 1998, and then became the executive director of Mongolia’s first non-bank financial company X.A.C. in 1999. He has held the position of the CEO of XacBank since its founding until 2009, when he moved on to lead Tenger Financial Group, a parent company. In 2009 he was nominated to the Forum of Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. In 2010 he was chosen as president of the Mongolian Students Union. Ganhuyag is also a founding member of the Mongolia Economic Forum since 2009. He has initiated a great number of campaigns, projects and other social activities, including hosting the 11th MFC Conference of Microfinance Institutions in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Ganhuyag was appointed as Vice Minister of Finance in December 2010.
Ganzorig is a founding CEO and a board member of Ard Credit. He also serves on the board of Ard Securities LLC, Wild Digital Agency, and Boom 2020 NGO. He started his career by working as a customer relationship manager at XacBank between 2004 and 2005 after finishing his high school in Ulaanbaatar. Ganzorig has written his thesis work on Sustainable Microfinance and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2010. During his student years, Ganzorig has gained extensive on the job training through interning at Wallis Investment, Consulting and Asset Management Inc. in Budapest, Hungary and number of financial institutions including TenGer Insurance and XacBank in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Before founding Ard Credit, Ganzorig worked for Monet Capital investment firm from 2010 to 2012 as an investment officer responsible for deal sourcing, analyzing, and financial modeling.
